Key Achievements

Recommendation 51 – Organisational Health Audit

The 2010 Organisational Health Audit was conducted in March/April 2010 and the results were released to the Police executive on the 23rd June 2010. The survey is a measure of organisational climate, engagement and dimensions of safety for female staff and staff from minority groups.

Action Plans have been completed for each District and Services Centre. Action Plans will be monitored centrally.

Recommendation 60 – OAG Audit of the COI

Police received the Second Monitoring Report from the Auditor-General in June 2010. Several recommendations have been made and Police are considering these. The overall sponsor of the Commission of Inquiry has sent letters to Executive sponsors (for each recommendation) highlighting the results of the second monitoring report and ensuring the recommendation owners are aware of their responsibilities.

Police are considering reopening the following recommendations: 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 34, 35, 40, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 48, 53, 54, 56, 57 and 58.
