Media advisory: Police wing graduating this Thursday celebrates unique diverse connection

New Zealand Police is pleased to announce that the 368-recruit wing will be graduating from their initial training course on Thursday 27 July in front of proud whānau and friends.

Attending the ceremony will be the Minister of Police, Honourable Ginny Andersen, Wing Patron Christina Inglis and Commissioner Andrew Coster. 

Details about wing statistics, the prize winners and other unique and interesting recruits will be shared on graduation day.

Media are welcome to attend the graduation parade which takes place at Te Rauparaha Arena, Main Arena, 17 Parumoana Street, Porirua.

Any media wishing to attend the graduation and interview recruits or staff should RSVP the Police Media Centre as soon as possible:  media@police.govt.nz

The ceremony starts at 10am, media are encouraged to be in place by 9.40am.
