Death following 2 January crash - Wainuiomata

A person critically injured in a crash in Wainuiomata on 2 January has passed away in hospital.
 
The single-vehicle crash on Coast Road was reported to Police at 11.45pm on 2 January. 
 
A 35-year-old man had been in Wellington Hospital with critical injuries since the crash and died earlier today. 
 
Two other people were in the car at the time of the crash and received minor to moderate injuries.
 
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
