One person has been taken to hospital with serious injures following a crash on the Hawke’s Bay Expressway.
The crash was reported at 5.35pm and involved a truck and a car.
A police investigation into the cause of this crash is underway. The Serious Crash Unit is examining the scene.
The Expressway remains blocked as a result of the crash between Taradale Road and Prebensen Road and diversions are place. The road is expected to re-open by 11pm.
