Charges have been laid following an incident where a driver allegedly fled across Auckland in a highly dangerous and reckless manner yesterday, before being apprehended by Police.
A 44-year-old man was released from Middlemore Hospital this evening and taken to Henderson Police Station.
He has been charged with a variety of driving and firearms offences and will appear in North Shore District Court tomorrow morning (2 February).
