A 27-year-old man has been arrested in Palmerston North this evening following an Armed Offenders Squad (AOS) operation in Kelvin Grove.
The man was arrested in relation to an armed incident in the city last night.
Police recovered a firearm and ammunition during the operation.
The man will appear in Palmerston North District Court tomorrow on firearms-related charges.
