Police are investigating a suspicious death at the Rutherford Hotel in Nelson this morning.
Police were called to the hotel shortly before 9:00am, where a woman was found deceased.
She is believed to have been visiting New Zealand from overseas.
Police are making enquiries to determine the circumstances of what has happened.
We are currently speaking to someone and are not seeking anyone else in relation to her death.
