Attribute to Detective Senior Sergeant Martin James
Hawke’s Bay Police assisted by LandSAR and Surf Life Saving teams will today search the Haumoana reserve and estuary area for missing French tourist Pierre Paludet.
The 32-year-old was last seen in the area on Friday night.
Investigators are keeping an open mind about his disappearance and a thorough search of the area is the next step in the enquiry.
Police are following up a number of possible sightings of Pierre but still want to hear from anyone who might have seen him.
We are in close contact with his family who are very grateful for the support they have received from the Hawke’s Bay community.
