A helicopter has today continued with searching the shoreline in the immediate area of Flat Point, Wairarapa, where a diver went missing on Sunday.
A local commercial fisherman has given a generous amount of time and effort to help as well.
A large family presence has also been conducting shorelines searches.
Police and LandSAR volunteers will continue with shoreline searches from late tomorrow morning.
It is hoped that weather conditions in the next few days will enable the Police National Dive Squad to begin a search underwater.
