Detectives investigating the death of Tirau woman Roma Joseph (previously referred to as Roma Midwood) are hoping Police Ten 7 viewers will help provide vital information they need.
The 58-year-old grandmother lived alone and died in a fire at her Little Street home between 3am and 3.30am on Monday, 1 May 2017.
Police believe the fire was deliberately lit.
The case will feature on Police Ten 7 tomorrow night, Thursday 31 August at the later time of 9pm on TVNZ 2. The programme will also be on Plus 1, with the Crime of the Week component posted on the Police Ten 7 Facebook once the programme has been broadcast.
Detective Senior Sergeant Matt Cranshaw, Area Manager: Investigations, Taupo, said Roma’s death has devastated her family.
“We urge people to come forward, do the right thing for Roma’s family and tell us what they know.”
