Hawke’s Bay Police have arrested a 16-year-old male following five arsons in Hastings.
Fires were lit in skip bins at the rear of retail premises overnight from 28 to 29 of November 2016.
Attending officers spoke to a person of interest during the night and CCTV was analysed the following day.
As a result of enquiries, a 16-year-old male was arrested and charged with five arsons on that night.
He is due to appear in the Hastings Youth Court on Wednesday 7 December 2016.
