Palmerston North Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Milson Four Square this afternoon.
The incident occurred just before 1.30pm when an armed person entered the Four Square on Langley Avenue and demanded money and cigarettes.
After being given money and cigarettes the offender fled on foot down Catlins Crescent.
Police would like to hear from anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area of the Milson Four Square this afternoon. Also they would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a person running from the area or a person trying to sell cigarettes.
