Police are seeking the identity of the man pictured in the attached CCTV image, following an aggravated robbery in Stokes Vallley, Lower Hutt this morning.
Two men entered a Glenn Road store shortly before 9:10am, armed with a sharp weapon.
No one was injured but cash and cigarettes were taken.
A woman, who was the only other person in the store, left through a back door as soon as the offenders arrived.
Although not harmed, she is shaken and receiving support from Police.
Anyone with information on the identity of the man pictured is asked to contact Wellington Police on 04 381 2000.
Alternatively, information may be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
No further information is available while the Crime Investigations Bureau continue to investigate.
