I've found an item of property. How do I report it?

If you have found property in a public place, we may be able to help.

You can report found property using the following options:

  • 105 online

    Please provide information that will assist in our response, such as if you believe the item is hazardous (e.g. firearms, weapons ammunition, poison), approximate value.

    We will let you know your next course of action e.g. if we will arrange pick up or you will need to report to your nearest station. 
     

 

 

If the found item remains unclaimed after a sufficient period of time, you will be notified and invited to claim the item yourself.
