Police are advising drivers of major congestion on the North-Western motorway as emergency services attend a fatal crash.
Around 9.45am a truck and motorcycle collided on the North-Western motorway, city bound between St Lukes and Great North Rd. The motorcyclist died at the scene.
Police are busy trying to clear the on ramps so emergency services can get through. The Serious Crash Unit is on its way.
Police advise there will be major congestion in the area for some time as emergency services attend to the scene.
All city bound traffic on the North-Western is being diverted off the Waterview off-ramp, however west bound traffic is not affected.
