At 7.15pm on 21 August 2016, remand prisoner Dion King escaped from Corrections custody whilst at the A&E Department of Hawkes Bay Hospital.
Police have made area inquiries and conducted several patrols at cordon points looking for Mr King but have been unable to locate him.
Mr King would have been noticeable when he left the hospital as he was handcuffed at the time. Police do not believe there is any risk to the public.
Police are asking anyone who sees him or knows where he is to please contact Police immediately by calling 111.
