Police are in attendance at a crash on the Southern Motorway near Bombay where a large truck has crashed through from the southbound lanes across to the northbound lanes into a bank.
No other vehicles were involved and the driver of the truck has been checked by paramedics. The cause of the crash will be investigated.
There will be significant delays for motorists travelling north from Bombay as the truck is recovered. Diversions will be in place to exit the motorway at Bombay and return at Ramarama.
Police appreciate patience from drivers going in both directions and ask that southbound motorists do not delay traffic by rubbernecking past the scene.
Police will advise when the motorway reopens.
