Police are still seeking any witnesses to the assault on a man in who was found at 3:27am on Sunday 3 July with serious head-injuries in Seddon Street Naenae.
There is no change in the condition of the 21-year-old victim. He still lies with life-threatening injuries in Wellington Hospital, while Police try and piece together what happened to him.
Police believe he was chased from a party attended by over 30 people in Cleland Crescent in Lower Hutt.
Police are appealing to any witnesses to the attack or who may have attended the party, so they can establish what happened.
