Police inquiries continue into Tuakau incident

Police inquiries are continuing this morning into an alleged stabbing incident during an attempted burglary in Tuakau last night.
 
One offender remains in Auckland Hospital in a serious but stable condition. Counties Manukau Police are speaking to a resident of the address where the incident occurred, and this person is helping Police with our inquiries.
 
No arrests have been made yet, however we wish to assure the Tuakau community there is no ongoing risk to the public.
