Arrest made following incident in Grey Lynn overnight

A 48-year-old-male will reappear in the Auckland District Court tomorrow morning after an incident in Grey Lynn last night.

Around 9.30pm last night, Police were called to a residential property in Grey Lynn after a man was seen looking through a window.

Police were immediately deployed and began a search of the area. Officers continued their search and around 10.30pm they located and arrested a man.

Early this morning Detectives carried out a search warrant at a Kingsland address and seized numerous electronic items. These are now being forensically examined.

The accused appeared in court today on one charge of unlawfully being on a property and one charge of peeping and peering.

He has been remanded in custody and is expected to reappear in court tomorrow morning.

The investigation is however ongoing and Police are not ruling out further charges.
