Firearms incident - Northland

Police were called to a firearms incident at Houhora in Northland at 8.50pm last night.
 
Shots were fired at a vehicle during an altercation over a front end loader.
 
An 18-year-old male has been taken to Kaitaia Hospital to be treated for superficial injuries.
 
The firearms have been seized and a 47-year-old male is helping Police with their enquiries. The incident is not believed to be gang related.
