Queenstown Police are currently in attendance at a fatal incident at the Mt Nicholas Station.
It appears a 73 year-old male was injured after a bus has reversed into him in the carpark. The male was transported to Queenstown Hospital and has since died from his injuries.
A police serious crash investigation has begun into the matter.
Police are also working to notify the family of the male, and a name will be released once this has been done.
As the investigation into this matter is ongoing, police are not in a position to comment further at this time.
