At about 0020hrs on Saturday morning the 19th of March, Gore Emergency services were called to a serious crash on River road between Gore and Mataura.
A Toyota Surf vehicle lost control and rolled over, trapping the male driver in the vehicle until fire service were able to extracated him. The driver is now in hospital with a serious head injury
Four passengers in the vehicle have escaped with minor injuries
A road diversion is in place until the serious crash scene Investigation is completed.
