Two men are in a critical condition in Middlemore Hospital following a shooting in Papakura.
The incident happened at around 1.15am this morning on Railway Street outside of the Papakura Railway Station.
A male is assisting Police with their enquiries.
An investigation is underway by the Counties Manukau CIB and we have no further information at this stage.
A further update will be provided tomorrow morning.
