Police and emergency services are currently in attendance at a fatal crash on Herbert-Hampden Road, Waitaki.
The crash occurred just before 2.45pm this afternoon and involved a motorbike and vehicle.
As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist has died. The driver of the other vehicle is currently being attended to by ambulance staff.
Police serious crash unit will soon begin a serious crash investigation into the cause of the crash.
Motorists should expect some delays while emergency services are on scene.
