Media release regarding fire at Paritutu, New Plymouth on Friday 5/2/16.
New Plymouth Police have identified and spoken to the person responsible for setting off fireworks that subsequently caused the fire on Paritutu Rock on Friday night 5 February.
The investigatation is being completed and any decision on charges will be made in the coming days.
Police would like to thank the members of the public for the fantastic response to requests for information as this directly resulted in this perrson being identified.
