Police appeal for witnesses following aggravated robbery in Northcote

Christchurch Police have carried out a scene examination at a Tuckers Road address in Northcote today following an aggravated robbery of three people at approximately 9.30 pm yesterday (19 January 2016).

Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Cottam said Police and Victim Support are working with the victims and supporting them.  “This is a very traumatic event and this sort of offending is unacceptable.”

“Indications are that this has been a targeted crime and Police are following strong line of enquiry.  However Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the Tuckers Road area last night and saw two males running from the vicinity”

The men were described as Maori or Polynesian, approximately 30 years old and wearing black clothing.  One has been described as 5'2" and large build, while the other was described as 5'10", solid build and bald.
