Owner of Manchester Unity medal urged to contact Police

Canterbury Police are keen to reunite the owner and the this Manchester Unity medal.  The medal was amongst the quantity of stolen property, including military medals, seized after a search warrant was executed at a residential property in Christchurch last week.

If you recognise this medal, or know who it might belong to, please contact Canterbury Police on 03 363 7400.

Information can also be provided anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and quoting ‘Manchester Unity Medal Christchurch’.

Canterbury Police urge members of the public to report items which have been stolen so that, in the event they are recovered, they can be returned to their rightful owner.  Where possible photograph or mark your property so that it can be easily identified as belonging to you.

Historic reports of theft can be reported by calling into your local Police Station or calling the Crime Reporting Line on 03 363 7400 option 5.
