Whanganui Police can now release the name of the woman who died in a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 3, near Waitotara yesterday (16 February, 2014).
She was Shauna Leitch aged 55, of Whangarei.
The crash investigation is ongoing and inquiries are underway to ascertain how the crash occurred.
Police still want to speak to anyone that saw the vehicles involved in the crash, a blue Mazda hatchback and a white Nissan saloon, on State Highway 3 in and around Waitotara between 12 to 12:30pm yesterday afternoon.
