Rodney Police regret to advise that the 19 year-old woman involved in last week's fatal crash in Matakana has passed away.
Janine Baer died in Auckland Hospital last Thursday night.
Her mother, 48 year-old Romy Reinhardt-Baer died at the scene of the crash on Wednesday.
Interpol have assisted Police to advise next of kin living in Germany.
Janine Baer was the driver of the vehicle and had been living and working in New Zealand since last July. Her parents had come to visit her here.
Mr Baer remains in Auckland Hospital.
The crash is still under investigation by the Waitemata Serious Crash Unit and is expected to take at least several weeks.
