Canterbury Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of 64 year old Peter TANGIRA who was last seen at approximately 6pm last night (6 November 2014) at Brookhaven Rest Home in Ferrymead.
Mr TANGIRA is described as Maori, 190-194cm tall, medium build with short greying hair. He was last seen wearing a navy blue t-shirt with yellow writing, black track pants and may be bare foot.
He suffers from dementia and is described as reasonably fit and enjoys walking. It is not known where Mr TANGIRA is heading but he may be confused and disorientated.
Police and Mr TANGIRA’s family have concerns for his wellbeing and ask anyone who has seen him to contact Christchurch Police urgently by calling 03 363 7670.
