Pictures released following Greerton ANZ bank aggravated robbery

Police in Tauranga have released two further pictures of a man wanted connection with an aggravated robbery at the ANZ bank in Greerton yesterday.

A man entered the bank at 2.30pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday 9th October) and demanded money from a teller.

Police believe two offenders were involved with principal (pictured) inside the bank and a second offender outside.

The second offender outside the bank is described as:   

Male, maori/Pacific Islander
Wearing a dark coloured sleeveless top
Short dark hair
Sunglasses
Dark coloured ‘cargo style’ shorts
Aged between 20 – 30yrs
Medium build.

Police believe that the vehicle used by these offenders was a Nissan Pulsar coloured dark grey regn number XD 2541.

This vehicle was stolen from Te Awamutu yesterday morning, and was recovered by police in Rotorua this morning.

Police are appealing for any information concerning the movements of this vehicle in the Waikato/Bay of Plenty areas from midday yesterday, and from anyone who recognises this offender.
