Taranaki Police are appealing for sightings of a Holden Commodore vehicle that was seen in the Opunake area when 27-year-old Aaron Roigard disappeared on Monday 2 June, 2014.

The older style Holden Commodore Saloon coloured a dark green/blue was seen on Waiteika Road at the time of Aaron's disappearance and Police want to speak to the driver and anyone that may have seen it in the Opunake area.

Officer in charge of the investigation, Detective Senior Sergeant Blair Burnett says: "We want to speak to the driver of the Holden and anyone else that may have seen the vehicle in the Opunake area on the Monday. I want to emphasise to the driver that they are not in any trouble; we just need to piece together vehicle movements in the area as this could be crucial to our investigation.

"Our inquiries are ongoing and we are planning further area canvasses over the weekend. We are continuing to work closely with Aaron's family to determine where he may have gone."

A team of 12 staff are working on the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Chris Allemann (06) 213 9536. Alternatively information can be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
