Christchurch
At approximately 4.15pm this afternoon (5/4/14) Christchurch Police responded to a report of a possible gunshot heard by a member of the public.
An area in Opawa was cordoned off by Police and the Christchurch Police Armed Offender Squad attended to clear an address.
The address was cleared without incident. No firearm was located.
Persons from the address are assisting Police with their enquiries.
