New District Commander for Eastern District

A powhiri for the new District Commander of the Eastern District, Superintendent Sandra Venables, will take place tomorrow (Wednesday 15 January) at Pakirikiri Marae, Tokomaru Bay.

Superintendent Venables comes to the Eastern District having served three years as Area Commander: Eastern Bay of Plenty. Ms Venables has 20 years' service in NZ Police in the Waikato; Bay of Plenty and Northland Districts.
