Police have concerns for a 34-year-old Greytown man who has not returned home from a visit to Castlepoint which is a beach resort located 40km east of Masterton.
Police believe he arrived at Castlepoint yesterday afternoon and parked a blue Mazda Premacy station wagon in an area near the Church on Jetty Rd.
Miroslav Tvaroh has been named as the missing man and is described as of slim athletic build, has a slight beard, 6ft tall, and thought to be wearing a brown polar fleece and grey corduroy trousers.
Police and volunteers are currently conducting a land and sea search in the area to try and locate Mr Tvaroh.
