First multicultural rugby festival shows future talent (slideshow)

The drive is aimed at encouraging young people in migrant communities to take up the sport.

The Rugby Union is looking to explore the initiative further. It’s hoped in time the action will result in the first Asian or African All Black.

Police is also supporting the upcoming New Zealand Communities Football Cup which will be held in Wellington 29 November-1 December.
