Calm robber in city

A Caucasian man, thought to be in his 50s, is at the centre of a Police investigation into a mid-morning bank robbery on Auckland's Queen St.

The man presented a note and a firearm to a BNZ teller at about 10.20am and made off with a small amount of money. Moments later he walked around the corner into the Right Track bar on Fort street where he removed his jacket and beanie.

When he went into the bank he was wearing the following:

- Blue beanie with red writing on the front

- reading glasses

- heavy, dark, long sleeved jacket

- blue jeans

- black shoes

- shoulder bag over his right shoulder [see attached pic]

After he left the Right Track Bar he was wearing:

- pink and yellow short sleeved checked button up shirt

- Black long sleeve t-shirt underneath

- blue jeans

- black shoes

- cream coloured sun hat
