Search teams are continuing to scour the hills around Lake Rotoroa in Nelson Lakes National Park for missing 84 year old Feilding man David "Roy" Marston.
Mr Marston failed to rendezvous with his hunting companions on Monday evening. Searchers, including a dog and helicopter spent yesterday in the area, but failed to find any sign of Mr Marston.
He is described as a very experienced and fit man who was well equipped. Search coordinator Sergeant John Maxwell said the search teams were systematically going through the search process from Mr Marston's last known point.
Two extra teams, along with some of Mr Marston's hunting companions, have joined the search today.
