Waitakere Police are concerned for the safety of 16 year-old Massey girl, Briar Mahe, who was last seen in Mangere at about 10pm on Saturday, September 29.

Briar was visiting friends near Idlewild Avenue in Mangere prior to her disappearance.

She is Tongan, of large build with dark skin and dark hair and she has a small scar burn mark on one wrist. She was last seen wearing black tights, high heels, a tan dress and a white woollen hat.

Briar has not been in contact with her family since Saturday and they are understandably concerned about her.

Detective Sergeant Eugene Pickett says anyone who knows anything about where Briar is or what has happened to her should call Waitakere Police on 09 8390653 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
