Police are seeking public help to locate a man wanted for extradition to the United States.

Bo Jiang, 33, has not been seen since Monday 3rd October. He failed to turn up for a daily bail check at the Wellington Police station on Sunday and again at the Johnsonville Police station on Monday and Tuesday.

He also failed to show for a scheduled appearance at Wellington District Court on Wednesday and Thursday.

Jiang is wanted for trial in the United States on various charges of conspiracy and trafficking in counterfeit pharmaceuticals.

He was arrested in Wellington in January and has reported daily to Police until this week. A further arrest warrant has now been issued by the court.

Jiang has links to Auckland and Wellington but is not considered dangerous.

Checks have shown no person has left New Zealand under this name since he went missing.

Jiang was living in Johnsonville but his landlord has not seen him since Monday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact their nearest Police station.

Alternatively they can give information anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
