Police investigating the disappearance and suspected homicide of Brett Hall are seeking information about a Nissan Terrano which has become a focus of the inquiry.
Brett Hall has not been seen since the last weekend in May at the Pitangi Track property, near Whanganui, where he was building a house.
Enquiries since his disappearance have led Police to take an interest in a dark grey Nissan Terrano and they are appealing for information about its movements between noon on Friday, 27 May and noon on Tuesday, 31, May.
Police know that this vehicle visited the Pitangi Track around the time that Mr Hall went missing. It is also believed that the vehicle was in the Bulls, Santoft Forest and Scotts Ferry Area around the same time.
Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Kirby said: "We are urging people to cast their minds back and try to recall anything they can about this vehicle. It was the weekend before the Queen's Birthday holiday and it was also the weekend that the Hurricanes played the Western Force in Palmerston North. We believe that information on this vehicle and its movements could be crucial to finding Mr Hall and establishing what happened to him.
"Some time may have passed since his disappearance but no amount of time is going to make it any easier on his family who still desperately want him found. No matter how trivial or irrelevant information may seem it could help bring them some answers."
