Christchurch Police are investigating the death of a woman in her 30s, at an address in Buckleys Road, near Leeston [south of Christchurch].
Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Murton says Police were called to the address at around 6:00am this morning.
“A scene investigation is currently underway, with Police expected to remain at the address for some days,” he says.
“ESR scientists are assisting Police with the investigation.”
No further comment will be made at the present time.
