The funeral of Timothy Barry Bourke is being held in Wanganui tomorrow morning. (Saturday 10th October)
Mr Bourke's family wish this to be a private and dignified occasion and have asked that media respect their privacy.
The family has specifically requested that media do not enter the church or the church grounds.
The family also say they have been subjected to ongoing, persistent requests for interviews since the events which began last weekend. They have asked to be left alone at this difficult time.
