A three-year-old girl who died yesterday after being found injured at a house in Palmerston North on Wednesday (19 August) has been named as Kash McKinnon.
A police investigation continues into the death of Kash who was with a 21-year-old man and three other children aged 2, 4 and 6 at the Hulme Street address on Wednesday.
A post mortem examination continued late into the night and further medical examinations are being carried out this morning.
Police still have control of the house and later today the property will be examined by ESR.
