A man has been charged after two teenagers received stab wounds early this morning (Friday, 8 January).
The incident happened in Weraroa Road, Levin between 4am and 4.30am this morning. There was some sort of altercation outside an address and the two teenagers aged 16 and 18 were injured.
They were taken to Palmerston North Hospital where they have both been detained for treatment. The older of the two requires surgery but neither have life-threatening injuries.
A 22-year-old local man was arrested later in the morning and has been charged with two counts of grievous bodily harm and will appear at Levin District Court this afternoon.
