Drug Dealers Arrested On North Shore

1 min read

As many as fifteen persons have been arrested for drug related offences after several suburban homes on the North Shore were visited by Police yesterday.

Detective Steve Matheson says search warrants were executed at seven addresses in suburbs, Milford, Glenfield, Northcote, and Beach Haven.

The arrested are aged from 15 to 58 years and include members of three families and other individuals. A male and a female will appear in the North Shore District Court today charged with selling and supplying the Class A controlled drug methamphetamine. A second male faces cannabis charges.

Thirteen other offenders are charged with cannabis offences including possession of cannabis for supply and selling cannabis. They'll appear in North Shore District Court on Monday. All these offenders are released on bail.

"Police have been investigating the illegal activities at these houses for the past two months. Among the items located at the seven addresses were cannabis tinnies ready for sale and a small volume of cash."

"The successful execution of these search warrants by the Waitemata District Law Enforcement Team and other North Shore Police units has been most satisfying. There's no doubt these arrests will seriously impact upon a regular supply to cannabis users in these suburbs," Detective Steve Matheson said.
