Man's disappearance a mystery

1 min read

Lower Hutt Police say there is still no sign of 38-year-old Harold Alamoti Taipa Skudder who was last seen by relatives in the Taita shopping centre in late January.

Detective Sergeant Scott Cooper, Lower Hutt Police, said Mr Skudder had no permanent home, worked on a casual basis and didn't have access to a bank account or vehicle.

"There's nothing to indicate Mr Skudder's disappearance is suspicious, and he doesn't have any health issues that we're aware of," Detective Sergeant Cooper said. "He has family in the Lower Hutt and Te Puke areas but no-one has seen or heard from him since January."

Mr Skudder is Maori, thinly built, approximately 175cm to 180cm tall, with heavily tattooed hands and arms. When last seen in January he had long grey hair and a grey beard.

Please contact police if you can help with information about Mr Skudder.
