Police following all leads

1 min read

Police are following up all possible sightings by members of the public of missing Papanui teenager Marie Davis, says Inquiry O/C Detective Senior Sergeant Virginia Le Bas.

"As yet there are no confirmed sightings of Marie," she says. "This includes a possible sighting of Marie at Christchurch Public Hospital last night."

Police will be examining security footage at the hospital today.

Marie has still not made contact with her family or her friends which is quite against her usual character.

Today police, family and friends are working together to build the picture as to the circumstances surrounding Marie going missing and her failure to contact any members of her family and friends.

Marie Davis is a 15 year old student at Papanui High School who has not been seen since last Saturday night, 5 April 2008, when she was dropped off by a friend's mother about 6pm at her home in the Northcote / Bishopdale area.

Anyone who knows or has information relating to Marie Davis who has not yet spoken to Police should do so.
