Henderson Police say the body that was found in dense bush at Titirangi on Sunday has been identified as that of a 39 year old female who had not been seen in the locality since early January.
Identification was confirmed by dental records.
The name of the deceased is:
WILSON /Belinda Michelle
Female - Caucasian
DOB 25/8/1968 - Age 39 years
Resident of Titirangi - West Auckland
A post mortem examination was completed yesterday. The circumstances surrounding the death are not suspicious. This enquiry has now been referred to the Coroner for inquest.
